Job description – Production Manager

TRUST Manufacturing is a manufacturer of Nuclear Safety Related bolting and hardware for all sectors of Nuclear Power Generation industry. TRUST Manufacturing specializes in all types of testing of materials and machining of precision components.

TRUST Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong focus on ensuring on-time delivery and driving cost reduction initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing day-to-day operations, managing inventory effectively, and implementing efficient manufacturing/ fabrication practices to optimize production.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of production floor employees to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve on-time delivery performance, minimize lead times, and enhance overall production efficiency.
• Manage inventory storage and process of inventory flow throughout production.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives across all aspects of production.
• Establish and maintain best practices for manufacturing and assembly processes to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
• Monitor and report on on-time delivery performance and cost reduction.
• Identify areas for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all production staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in a production or product-management role
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Experience utilizing an ERP system/JobBOSS specifically
• Detail-oriented and an analytical approach to problem solving
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred - Associate degree (or equivalent) in manufacturing or operations
