- Maintain reliable attendance.
- Train and manage production employees on the assigned shift.
- Oversee the daily workflow and assign work based on the production schedule.
- Troubleshoot production equipment when necessary.
- Maintain and replenish raw materials within the department.
- Ensure testing is complete for quality department.
- Communicate effectively with all departments.
- Ensure that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Review and process timecards for accuracy.
- Ensure employees maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Complete accident reports and follow-up with corrective actions when applicable.
- Assure that the department is compliant with standards for hazardous waste disposal.
- Conduct disciplinary action when necessary.
- Cover PTO and other time off for supervisors within the department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 5 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Possess a proven track record of supervising others and leadership skills.
- Self-starter with initiative to tackle projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production problems as they arise.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
- Proficient in MS Office.
