The Project Manager is responsible for delivering successful outcomes in the implementation of new projects via effective and pragmatic project management. The projects managed by this role are significant in scale and business impact. The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of all safety, security, quality and manufacturing operational policies and strategies under their control.
We have developed a set of management systems which encompasses key Quality, Safety and Sustainability processes, control and hold points, and assurance requirements (aligned and compliant with ISO 9001(Quality Management), ISO 45001(Occupational Health and Safety), ISO/IEC 270001(Information Security Management) and ISO14001(Environmental Management). Work processes are designed to be aligned with Lean Six Sigma principles.
Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating activities regarding project tenders, design, development, testing, training, project reporting, transition to business as usual (BAU) and post project implementation reviews.
• Develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, positively influencing teams and individuals, negotiating solutions and providing a high level of customer service.
• Coordinate and manage contractors and field staff to meet project deliverables.
• Manage project budgets.
• Manage project status reports.
• Provide training and Project support (eg. Coordination of meetings, agendas, minutes, communication and basic business analyst skills) in the delivery of Transition plans.
• Plan, manage, deliver and review implementation of Transition tasks.
• Continuously improve policies, procedures, processes, planning and communications to support effective customer service delivery particularly in the Transition to BAU.
• Participate in the establishment, monitoring, reviewing, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPl’s) and targets for all services within Transition plans and processes.
• Comply with existing Work, Health and Safety legislation and regulation obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Engineering discipline, Project Management related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Project Management certification such as Agile/Prince2/PMBOK/PMP/PMI highly desired.
• Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Knowledge / Key Attributes

• Comprehensive understanding and experience of project management methodology, tools and documentation.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence and Smartsheet desired.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex problems and find innovative solutions.
• Ability and experience in both face to face and virtual workshop facilitation.
• Experience in managing budgets and resources.
