Manage and lead strategic execution of Truist Financial Corporation's (and subsidiaries') financial methodologies, allocation and performance reporting processes and systems. Lead the continuous improvement of the substance and efficiency of methodologies and processes, integration with reporting, planning and forecasting, and value-added information for Truist leadership. Responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis. Provide leadership for additional financial analysis including, but not limited to, organizational, product, and client profitability, and pricing methodologies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage and provide leadership to the Corporation's financial methodologies and process. Key responsibilities related to the financial methodologies include:
a. Implement and maintain Truist's Capital Allocation methodologies, and processes;
b. Implement and maintain Truist's Indirect and other Cost allocation methodologies and processes;
c. Implement and maintain Truist's Integrated Relationship Management and Transfers and processes with a focus on supporting key Truist competitive strategies and promoting economic substance;
d. Ensure compliance with Regulation W 23B requirements in partnerships with Regulation W function and LOB Finance;
e. Maintain and update proper controls and documentation covering key processes, systems and reports.
2. Lead key governance processes related to financial methodologies including management the Profitability Working Group agendas, materials and approvals. Manage the Profitability Working Group in compliance with enterprise governance requirements and policies.
3. Lead the production of monthly performance reporting package that is presented to Executive Leadership; engage with stakeholders to leverage performance reporting package and data to support related reporting needs, such as strategic planning.
4. Lead development, improvement, and maintenance of financial systems used in calculating, allocating and reporting financial methodologies in partnership with Enterprise Technology.
5. Provide leadership, direction and coaching to Financial Methodology, Cost and Profitability Reporting Teams and serve in advisory capacity for LOB leadership throughout the company. This includes working with LOB Finance and LOBs to develop economically meaningful financial information and analysis, and reviewing these results to identify areas of improvement.
6. Proactively evaluate the monthly profitability allocation cycle to identify enhancements to the Corporation's financial methodology process for efficiency, cycle time, and accuracy improvements.
7. Develop and lead training programs for financial methodology processes and systems. Develop skills of the cost and financial methodology specialists. Promote cross-training across teams.
8. Manage the profitability-based methodologies and allocations utilized in the forecasting and profit planning processes; engaged with teammates in FP&A / Corporate Finance as well as LOB Finance to document and implement methodologies
9. Work to create a positive team environment with an open communication culture. Delegate tasks and set deadlines as appropriate. Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts. Encourage creativity. Suggest and organize team building activities.
10. Communicate effectively with all levels of the Corporation. Significant interaction with the CFO required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent education and related training
2. Fifteen years of experience in financial methodologies, financial analysis, or corporate budgeting/profit planning/forecasting
3. Ability to perform and lead financial modeling and analysis related to Truist income statement and balance sheet accounts, products and
4. client profitability
5. Seven years of financial institution work experience as a team leader or supervisor
6. Vision and drive to evaluate processes for efficiency and effectiveness and continuously improve
7. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
8. Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
9. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in finance or business administration
2. Professional designation such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
3. Knowledge of financial industry business practices
4. Financial system experience, such as SAP or Hyperion
5. Mastery of financial tools, practices, and concepts used by Truist
