We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join the Azure Cloud team at Truist. As part of the Azure team, you will be part of a growing and innovative space at Truist. Our goal is to build and support a resilient, automated and operationally stable Azure cloud platform for our clients to deploy applications on.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and supporting Azure cloud deployments
Collaborate with team members across the Truist footprint to ensure Azure operational readiness
Operational support of complex Azure Solutions deployed to the cloud
Working with deployment teams to ensure Azure operational readiness
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or equivalent education and related training or experience
Five years of experience in software engineering or IT including at least two years of experience in a role in which the primary responsibility is DevOps Engineering or the development, maintenance, and support of CI/CD pipelines
Must demonstrate ability to write code
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in development or production support or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
3 years Azure cloud experience
Azure Administrator Certified (AZ-104) highly preferred
Experience in Azure technologies including but not limited to backup and restore, ASR, Network, NSG, troubleshooting and operational logging
Experience in Azure network design including NSG, Gateway, Firewalls, Subnets, Vnets.
Knowledge of Azure security constructs
Demonstrated experience supporting production Azure deployments
Demonstrated experience with Azure coding technologies – CLI, Powershell, ARM
Experience with Terraform deployments using Azure DevOps or GitLab
Experience working with teams to deliver complete Azure solutions (security, operations, engineering, application team)
***Hybrid work structure: 3 days onsite ( /-), depending on the needs of the business.
Provide rotating, on-call support/coverage for Azure cloud platform
