Providing a broad set of services ranging from – Preventive Maintenance to complete repairs for all medium duty and heavy-duty trucks. Responsibilities:
Partner with Management and technicians to learn new skills using technician training and hands-on coaching.
Perform all Day-to-Day Customer, Vendor, Partners Interaction and Service with minimal supervision.
Greet and consult with Customer to interpret their needs, vehicle - truck or trailer faults, complaints and arrange for appropriate service. Complete customer profile system and paper condition report.
Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
Train technicians, helpers, parts runners and new teammates on Companies' Principles, Core Values, workflow and responsibilities.
Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met.
Coordinate with Lead Technician the days priorities, job-warranties, approved to diagnose, approved to complete work and assigned technicians based on the level of experience and existing workflow/RO's they may already have.
The primary duties include but not limited to be a Team-Player, build a family and professional environmental with staff, vendors, and customers. Lead, educate and elevate team members.
Provide excellent and consistent customer service.
Provide great communication from intake to release of vehicle, and perform follow ups.
Listen carefully to customer descriptions and assess the asset to determine the best plan of action.
Effectively communicate to the customer to issues found, the proposed maintenance or repairs recommend and offer prepare and estimate.
Review parts list with team/technicians and coordinate with our parts vendors to make sure everything needed is on hand.
Provide updates to customers as their work is ongoing and completed.
Answer detailed questions about services needed, performed, and price information.
Manage floor, coordinate with team/technicians and manage workflow schedule.
Teambuilding and leadership.
Manage production and RO expectations.
Maintain customer records by keeping all files organized.
Schedule appointments.
Finalize invoicing and collect payments.
Test drive vehicles and confirm repairs.
Manage Inventory and Vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
Bilingual - English & Spanish.
Basic math and accounting knowledge.
1 year minimum of medium-duty and heavy-duty repairs experience.
Ability to break down asset diagnostics into understandable advice meant for customer understanding.
Ability to educate our customer on the importance of preventive maintenance.
Minimum of 1 year management experience.
Computer and data-entry skills.
Organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to stand, walk, sit and lift up to 35 pounds.
Have a teamwork mindset in the workplace and accept feedback on your work.
Understand the typical format of company schedules in order to manage time efficiently.
Ability to multitask, work in high-stress settings.
