About the Role
The Executive Director role at the company is a strategic and relational position with a strong focus on development and fundraising. The successful candidate will lead the organization in its mission to serve the LGBTQIA community, including the development of programs to reduce isolation and provide a space for community development. Responsibilities include being the primary point of contact with the Board of Directors, representing the organization to the community, and playing a pivotal role as a public liaison within the LGBTQIA community. The Executive Director will also lead the implementation of the strategic plan, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure the organization's fiscal health through fundraising and diversified funding efforts.Candidates for the Executive Director position should have an MBA or MPA degree or equivalent work experience, a demonstrated commitment to the organization's mission, and at least 3 years of management experience in executive leadership roles. A strong background in financial management and fundraising is essential, with a proven track record of securing significant gifts and grants. Experience in non-profit organizations supporting diverse LGBTQIA communities, as well as knowledge of wrap-around services and relationship building for strategic partnerships, is required. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English and will have a deep understanding of the issues and current events within the LGBTQIA landscape.
