Triumph Physical therapy & wellness center is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Flower Mound, TX

**(Spanish speaking is prefered)

We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical practice and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the system

- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar

- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members

- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments

- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents

- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists

- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus

- Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, etc.

- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record (EHR) systems is desirable

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
