TriSource is Hiring a DSP (Direct Support Professional) Near Alexandria, VA
TriSource is looking for an energetic DSP to provide assistance and companionship to individuals at a day program in Alexandria, VA! Must have at least 6 months experience working with individuals with intellectual, developmental or physical disabilities!
Shifts available:
Monday-Friday: 4pm-12am - NO WEEKENDS EVER!
Monday-Friday: 11pm-7am - NO WEEKENDS EVER!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism.
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Implement behavior support plans and strategies to promote positive behaviors and independence.
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and social interactions.
- Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
- Must be covid vaccinated
- Must be comfortable driving clients have a valid Driver's License
- Must have a negative TB/PPD
- Must have at least 6 months experience with the vulnerable population
- CPR/FA is not required but preferred
- MANDT certification is a plus
