Director, Safety and Compliance
A company in Rockville, MD is looking for a Director of Safety and Compliance to join their team. This position will be responsible for providing incident-free customer service by working with branches and managing company compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Incident reporting, incident investigation, root cause analysis, incident software administration, and compliance management.
• Planning and implementing company safety improvement for sales, production, distribution, warehousing, and tank installation activities.
• Coaching and supporting safety and performance improvement at all employee levels.
• Working with drivers and demonstrating knowledge of DOT requirements.

Qualifications and requirements will include but are not limited to:

• 10 years’ experience improving the safety of plant operations or transportation required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows environment; Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
• Goal orientated, well organized and attentive.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
