Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading the recruitment efforst for high-volume, warehouse/production, hourly positions in our Utah, California, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona plants . The TA Specialist will work closely with hiring managers, applicants, human resources, and other functional areas to attract and acquire a highly talented and diverse workforce. The TA Specialist will achieve recruiting objectives by sourcing and evaluating passive and active job seekers; managing the interview, debrief and offer process and advising hiring managers of recruiting compliance and best practices.

What will you do?

  • Manages front-line hourly employee full cycle recruitment process, which includes partnering with leaders to identify available openings, posting open positions on job boards, reviewing applicants, scheduling, participating in interviews, preparing offers and managing pre-employment tasks. 
  • Develops and implements diverse sourcing strategies, including referral generation, position postings, direct sourcing, and traditional media sources, networking, internships, and career fairs.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Pro- actively develops and maintains a pipeline of qualified and skilled diverse candidates for current and future workforce needs.
  • Provides hiring managers with competency-based selection tools and recommendations.
  • Consistently delivers a positive hiring experience to internal (hiring teams) and external (candidates, vendors) stakeholders by providing professional and timely communication
  • Recruits and manages an average requisition load of 30 full time positions. 
  • Partners with HR Points of Contact throughout the hiring process.
  • Acts as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Resolves all recruitment challenges through professional consultation and market knowledge.
  • Establishes and leads relationships with technical schools, recruitment agencies, and other organizations.
  • Manages candidates in the ATS (iCIMS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Tracks candidate metrics and data on a weekly basis to provide insights and develop recruiting action plans to increase effectiveness.
  • Leverages new technologies in talent acquisition, human resources, and talent management.
  • Participates in developing HR department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assists in the administration of various human resource programs for designated sites.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

  • Must have 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition experience in a fast paced and high-volume environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Is detail oriented, organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adapts to business priorities that change quickly.
  • Is able to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
  • Must be able to demonstrate problem solving abilities, decisiveness, and flexibility.
  • Must have a strong teamwork mentality.
  • Ability to work independently and employ effective time management skills.
  • Has excellent interviewing skills.
  • Has experience in the following systems: iCIMS, ADP Workforce Now, and Microsoft tools (preferred).
  • Bilingual – Spanish (preferred).
  • Has the ability to handle very sensitive information in a discreet, confidential manner.
  • Has thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
