Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing vendor payments. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, is proficient in accounting software, and has a solid understanding of GAAP principles.
AP/Management:
Manage weekly A/P for all locations
Verify invoices that were accepted through the Rasi system
Enter corporate and monthly billing invoices accurately
Reconcile invoices with cash management transactions
Vendor Relations:
Identify inconsistencies through weekly/monthly vendor statement reviews
Maintain and update vendor files
Communicate with vendors via email and phone regarding payments and/or discrepancies
Internal Communication:
Communicate with management team at each location to address missing or incorrect invoices
Ensure all transactions comply with established financial policies and procedures
Audits and Compliance:
Assist with A/P audits as needed
Skills and Qualifications
Attention to detail- Ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and record-keeping
Organizational skills- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Accounting Knowledge- Familiarity of accounting principles and practices.
Software Proficiency- Skilled in using accounting software and spreadsheets.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
