Performs a variety of skilled duties in support of the operation, repair, and maintenance of the University's buildings and equipment, including carpentry repairs and the maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems.JOB DUTIES

EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred:
Vocational/technical training in one or more related fields.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Minimum of five years of experience in construction and/or maintenance.
Preferred:
More than five years of experience and/or previous university residence hall experience.
Journey-level experience in at least one of the following trades: HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, or electricity.

Required:
Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and have a good driving history. May not have more than two moving violations in a three-year period.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
All jobs require a current Criminal Background Check (CBC).
Occasional overtime and emergency on-call hours
