We are seeking a highly experienced Medical Biller Manager (Must have 3 Years Experience as a Billing Manager) to join our private medical practice specializing in primary care and psychiatric care services. As a Billing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, while managing the overall revenue cycle of the practice in the billing department.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire billing process, including claims submission, payment posting, and denials management.
• Ensuring 100% of claims are scrubbed prior to submission for accuracy and to ensure all possible codes are included with 100% accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with billing regulations and guidelines, including knowledge of Eclinical Works ECW software, and requirements of individual payers.
• Review and analyze billing reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain an A/R Aging of less than 40 days.
• Ensure all claims are submitted within one business day after date of service.
• Collaborate with the practice manager to reconcile accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare billing regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
• Train and supervise billing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurance providers and resolve any billing-related issues.
• Implement and maintain effective billing policies and procedures to optimize revenue cycle management.
• Generate and present regular reports on billing performance and key metrics to management.
• Collaborate, train, and work with outside billing support including virtual workers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Billing Manager in a medical practice, with expertise in Eclinical Works ECW software, knowledge of ICD-10 Codes
• Familiar with ICD-10 Codes for Psychiatric & Primary Care Services *****
• In-depth knowledge of medical billing procedures, coding systems, and insurance regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and other systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and insurance providers.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with primary care and psychiatric care billing processes is preferred.
