Position Purpose
The Business Development Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s core business through data analysis and reporting. Additionally, the Business Development Analyst is responsible for developing the tools to help visualize performance in various operational and value-based metrics, and helps to identify positive trends and areas of improvement. Two domains of focus will guide the work and responsibilities of the Business Development Analyst: Analytics Support and Performance Improvement Support.
What you will do
Technical Report Writing and Dashboard Creation: Understands EMR and healthcare data, creates relational reports from databases, produces visualizations, and explains performance in an easy-to-understand way
Critical Problem Solving: Strong data skills including ability to formulate conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical and systematic manner
Leadership Teamwork: Works collaboratively with providers, leadership, and performance improvement teams to help them understand the data, identify areas for improvement and assist with creating action plans to achieve productivity goals
Support the reporting infrastructure of projects and functions according to stakeholder needs and established metrics
Design and monitor outcome dashboards, scorecards, and trend results
Provide deep-dive analyses for various data sets/metrics
Provide periodic analysis to describe the effectiveness of medical group initiatives on improving access, productivity, and new business
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience with business and productivity analysis
3 years of experience in business analysis preferred
Knowledge in productivity assessment methods and relevant metrics
EPIC reporting experience preferred. Relational database familiarity, SQL, database management a plus
