Summary:
A west Tulsa company is seeking a warehouse person that might also help with assembly, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Count parts, verify stamp work order and print match place part on shelf in proper position. Fill out router with quantity.
- Handle parts with care, protect them from damage and the elements
- Inspect parts to ensure that they are undamaged and free from rust
- Maintain assigned area, including; trash removal, labels, floors swept, ensure parts are in place, aisles free of hazards
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on any machines operated and inform supervisor of any other maintenance needs that exceed your ability.
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of warehouse practices
- Basic shop math for determining part sizes, locations of part characteristics, tolerance limits, counting parts, using ratios or percentages
- Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials
- Ability to understand written or oral instructions, safety rules company policies etc.
- Ability to accurately use common inspection equipment such as a scale, calipers, micrometers etc.
- The ability to use pallet jacks and/or forklift.

* Schedule times of shipment and modes of transportation for materials.
* Counsel employees in work-related activities, personal growth, or career development.
* Inventory supplies and requisition or purchase additional items, as necessary.
* Perform the same work duties as those supervised, or perform more difficult or skilled tasks or assist in their performance.
* Inspect job sites to determine the extent of maintenance or repairs needed.
* Participate in the hiring process by reviewing credentials, conducting interviews, or making hiring decisions or recommendations.
* Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or disciplinary measures.
* Resolve personnel problems, complaints, or formal grievances when possible, or refer them to higher-level supervisors for resolution.
* Assess training needs of staff and arrange for or provide appropriate instruction.
* Estimate material, time, and staffing requirements for a given project, based on work orders, job specifications, and experience.
* Inspect equipment for wear and for conformance to specifications.
* Prepare and maintain work records and reports of information such as employee time and wages, daily receipts, or inspection results.
