Trilogy Innovations is Hiring a Remote Verification and Validation Lead

Trilogy Innovations is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Agile Project Manager to provide remote support to our federal customer based in Cape May, NJ. Oversees the rigorous testing and validation processes for our digital twin projects. Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of digital twin systems across various industries. Posseses a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, test automation, and risk management, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop V&V Strategies: Define and implement comprehensive verification and validation strategies for digital twin projects, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and customer needs.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop test plans, test cases, and procedures to validate digital twin functionalities, performance, and interoperability with external systems.
  • Test Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Regression Testing: Implement regression testing strategies to ensure the stability and reliability of digital twin systems throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with digital twin implementations, and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues and challenges.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing and analysis to evaluate the scalability, responsiveness, and resource utilization of digital twin platforms under various load conditions.
  • Security Testing: Coordinate with security experts to perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks in digital twin systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document test results, findings, and recommendations in comprehensive test reports, and communicate findings to project stakeholders and management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance V&V processes, tools, and methodologies, and ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in verification and validation activities for software or systems development projects, preferably in the context of digital twins or IoT solutions.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IEEE 1012, ISTQB).
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Robot Framework) and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks and issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or quality management (e.g., Six Sigma) are desirable.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a passion for learning and staying updated on emerging trends and advancements in software testing and quality assurance.
