With our vision set on continued growth, we're on the hunt for a detail-oriented and efficient Bookkeeper. This individual should be adept at handling A/R, A/P, and general administrative tasks, ensuring the streamlined operation of our finance department.

Position: Bookkeeper

Location: Pottstown, PA

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable (A/R) operations: Support the Senior Accountant in timely invoicing, tracking, and collections.
  • Support Accounts Payable (A/P) processes: Aid in efficient processing of bills, ensuring timely payments, and liaising with vendors under the guidance of the Senior Accountant.
  • Collaborate in Cash Flow Analysis: Help monitor the company's financial liquidity and provide necessary data and insights.
  • Maintain the General Ledger: Work alongside the Senior Accountant to regularly update and ensure the accuracy of ledger entries.
  • Bank Reconciliations Support: Collaborate with the Senior Accountant to reconcile bank statements with our records, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
  • Support Monthly and Year-End Closings: Assist the Senior Accountant during the closing processes, preparing necessary documents and reports.
  • General Administrative Support: Engage in administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and organizing, to ensure the seamless operation of the finance department.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent bookkeeping certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Desktop Pro.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
