What you can expect in this role:
Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair water treatment and distribution systems. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure system integrity. Troubleshoot and repair water pumps, pipes, valves, and related components.
Quality Control: Monitor water quality and conduct tests to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Implement corrective measures to address water quality issues promptly. Collaborate with relevant agencies to address and resolve water quality concerns.
Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as water leaks or systems failures, to minimize downtime and ensure rapid resolution.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Prepare detailed reports on system performance, water quality, and any issues identified.
Customer Service: Communicate with clients to understand their water service needs and address inquiries. Provide guidance and recommendations on water system improvements to enhance efficiency.
Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations and standards governing water systems. Ensure that all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards.
What skills/experience you'll need to be considered for this role:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or a degree in a related field is a plus.
1-3 years of experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role preferred.
Mechanical aptitude; experience in plumbing or residential water treatment systems is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and operate heavy equipment required.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces required.
