Tri County Metals is hiring a Business Development Manager to cover the following counties: Okeechobee, Highlands, Hardee, Desoto, Glades, Hendry, Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe. This Team Member is responsible for following our proven sales system for prospecting roofing contractors, identifying their needs, working towards solving those needs through our services and products, helping them grow their business, and fostering the relationship between them and Tri County Metals.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks

• The base salary is paid weekly, with commissions are paid monthly.

General Schedule

• Schedule is Monday – Friday! Weekends are yours to enjoy !
• Start time will vary by day based on when you need to start your contacts and travel required.
• Amount of contact: In person often with contractors, sometimes on jobsite. E-mail, phone & text with contractors and internal Team Members.

Equipment

• Must have a qualified driving record for automobile use.
• Computer and Electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Team Members must always put safety first and always wear appropriate PPE!
• Exceeding sales targets as set for the territory.
• Relating with people is a key requirement of this role.
• Understanding products, product approvals for the sales territory and matching the solutions to the needs of the contractor.
• Timely completion of CRM data, reviewing reports and acting as required to serve accounts.
• Adhere to and understand all safety policies and procedures.
• Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures and policies of the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a basic understanding of business fundamentals.
• Preferred experience with construction sales.
• Above average computer and Office Suite skills.
• Must be able to regularly lift items up to 50 pounds, bend, and squat as required.
• Must be comfortable executing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Service oriented, problem solving and forward-thinking skills are a plus.
