About us: Tri-County Animal Rescue is a 100% no-kill animal shelter located in Boca Raton,Fl. Since inception in 1996 we have rescued over 88,000 animals. Currently we have expanded our services to include a low cost or even pro bono veterinary hospital to help community members in financial hardship be able to have the proper care for their beloved family pets.

```Duties:```

- Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk

- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room

- Process payments and handle financial transactions

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns

```Qualifications:```

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred

- Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and equipment

- Familiarity with kennel operations, including feeding, cleaning, and exercise routines

- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently

- Understanding of Avimark software

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Passion for animal care and commitment to providing exceptional service to clients

Tri County Animal Rescue is a 100% no kill shelter. the receptionist job will be in our Lois Pope Pet Clinic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
