Who are we?

Our community health center began as a modest sized medical clinic in Pasco, Washington in 1981. The clinic was founded by a small group of women in the Pasco community who saw the need to serve low-income community members who could not afford to pay for Healthcare. 

Tri-Cities Community Health has grown into a comprehensive non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) where we have evolved into a network of community health centers that continue with the foundation TCCH was built on and serve an even more diverse population in the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas. 

Our Opportunity:

Under the general supervision of the Mental Health Clinical Supervisor, the Integrative Healthcare Specialist (IHS) will promote wellness and improvement in social determinants of health of FQHC patients by addressing behavioral health, substance use, and medical needs. The integrative specialist will function as a multidisciplinary team member to help our providers assess needs, and develop, implement, track, and revise comprehensive plans for children and adults. 

Requirements

Essential Functions

  • Responds in real time to meet with patients with needs identified during another appointment and work with the team to assist in developing a care plan. 
  • Interacts, communicates and intervenes with multidisciplinary teams in a purposeful, goal-directed fashion. Works proactively to maximize the effectiveness of resource utilization and client service delivery. 
  • Maintains current knowledge of therapeutic modalities, therapeutic interventions, and agency guidelines for treatment, as specified by federal, state, and private insurance guidelines
  • Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his or her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards
  • Maintains Documentation of client care
  • Service Delivery 
  • Implements interventions that lead to the client accomplishing goals established in the treatment plan.
  • Coordinates the necessary resources to accomplish goals developed in the treatment plan.
  • Gathers information from sources to enable the IHS to monitor the treatment plan’s effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate an ability to collect essential 
  • Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter and intra-departmentally to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives\

Requirements:

Minimum Education:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or another related field. Must have completed an accredited program and be eligible for licensure with the Department of Health.

Minimum Work Experience:

  • One year of experience in a mental health setting preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications: 

  • Applicants must be eligible for at minimum an Associate level license through the Department of Health and able to obtain it within 90 days. Fully Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist preferred. CPR/First Aid preferred.

Salary:

$30.21 - $41.65 per hour (Candidates can expect to start at $30.21 - $35.03)
