Tri-Cities Community Health is Hiring an Enrollment Specialist Near Pasco, WA

Description

The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for assisting patients with insurance enrollment applications, insurance eligibility, and outreach activities. This person is TCCH’s internal and external expert for the Insurance Marketplace Exchange and the enrollment practice. Frequent travel off site is required to participate in community activities and provide outreach services to community partners. This individual is responsible for data collection, tracking and reporting as needed for enrollment efforts. 

Requirements

Education: High school diploma/GED required. Associate’s degree preferred.

Experience: 1-2 years working with Medicare, Medicaid, Healthy Options and Third Party Payers preferred.

License/Certification: Valid WA State driver’s license and auto insurance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills required. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office products. Ability to type 40 wpm accurately. Exceptional record keeping skills required. Must be able to travel within the service area for community networking and special workshops. Requires ability to work independently and within a team structure. Knowledge of outreach activities and program development preferred.
