Summary of the role:

The Maintenance Technician position requires a person that is a self-starter, can work unsupervised, and has the ability analyze and solve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Punctual repair of equipment, giving priority to production.
• Perform the preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production equipment and facilities.
• Document all repairs and preventive maintenance, with a view to continuous improvement.
• Work in collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor and Methods & Maintenance Manager for improvement of production tools and equipment.
• Organize and maintain the spare parts program.
• The ability to proficiently perform the essential duties and functions.
• Proficient utilization of equipment.
• Regular, predictable attendance is a requirement of this position.
• Must adhere to all company health, safety and environmental rules and policies.

Education and Experience

• Minimum educational level required: High school diploma and/or experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.
• Minimum experience required: 2 years experience.
• License or certification requirements: License or certification preferred.
