Position Summary: Director, Projects

We are seeking a motivated and seasoned Director, Construction Projects to oversee our ambitious project pipeline. This leadership role is pivotal in driving the development, execution, and operational phases of our utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Projects, the successful candidate will embody our core values of Integrity, Collaboration, Ambition, and Adaptability to steer our projects to completion on time, within budget, and above expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams through all phases of project lifecycle, ensuring excellence in execution and delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, and environmental, to align project objectives with company strategy.
  • Nurture stakeholder relationships, including project partners, investors, and local communities, to foster supportive and collaborative project environments.
  • Adapt project management strategies to overcome challenges and seize opportunities, ensuring project resilience and success.
  • Champion innovation in project execution, leveraging the latest in clean energy technologies and methodologies.
  • Drive the ambition of the team and company towards achieving Treaty Oak's vision of a sustainable, clean energy future.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, financials, and KPIs, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Foster a culture of safety, integrity, and respect within the project team and with all external partners.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management within the renewable energy, construction, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to operation.
  • Strong leadership skills, with an ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
