Human Resources Assistant
As the Human Resources Assistant, you will be a vital part of the Human Resources team and provide support with onboarding, employee file maintenance, reporting and pre-employment screenings.
- Directly support recruiting team with new employee onboarding -in person and virtually
- Coordinate and schedule background and drug screenings.
- File and audit new employee paperwork
- Code timecard invoices
- Maintain employee files.
- Process employee changes in HRIS database -address, contact information and employment status changes.
- Audit timecard entry
- Generate and run various HR reports.
- Answer all incoming phone calls and transferring to the appropriate party.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in both English and Spanish
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment required.
- High level attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Previous experience supporting onboarding preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handling confidential information and situations.
