As the Americas/APAC Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for running and growing our team of sales development professionals in North America and APAC region. This highly visible team plays a key role in our overall demand generation efforts, partnering closely with both our global marketing organization and our multi-segment sales organization. The sales development team is responsible for generating opportunities for the sales teams worldwide, using both inbound and outbound channels. We use a best-of-breed technology stack to drive our efforts. And our sales operations team is second to none, giving you the reporting and insights you need to succeed. This leadership role requires a dynamic, strategic leader who can partner closely with leaders in sales, marketing, and operations. We’re looking for someone who can define the vision for the team and empower them to achieve their goals professionally and personally all while selling the industry’s leading SaaS solution in business travel. Sales Management, Skills Training, Talent Development, Process Design, and Infrastructure Expertise are all required for the leader of this team. You will interact with senior management across the global organization to ensure we are building a team that can grow and scale our rapidly expanding market presence. What you will do: o Develop and maintain an outbound prospecting strategy to consistently and predictably achieve organization targets and advise senior management on forecasted results o Partner with Global Marketing and Sales on campaign strategy and messaging to consistently deliver our ambitious growth targets o Synchronize with Sales Leaders across North America points of sale for targeted account engagement o Manage performance reporting, Salesforce dashboards and actively streamline processes and systems o Sustain team performance by ensuring the team focus on the activities needed to “win the week”, while continuously developing all team members and maintaining a high level of motivation amongst the team o Support professional and technical knowledge needed to understand the corporate travel market, GBT Group's solution and our competitors o Grow the Sales Development team by hiring, and optimizing the onboarding process to increase time to productivity o Supervise inbound Sales queues, lead distribution and other Market Response activities What you will bring: o 4-7 years of experience in sales and people management o Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated and successful results-orientated team o High level of familiarity with territory development strategies and analysis o Experience in business to business sales, preferably in software-as-a-solution, service or consulting industry o Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills o Fervent understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and your strong change management skills o History of coordinating with peers in other teams for overall success of the organization o Ability to hire, onboard, and upskill new talent and identify opportunities of career growth within the organization * This role requires some set office-presence working pattern(s) based on roles, responsibilities, and team collaboration needs #GBTJobs Location Washington - MidStation Bellevue The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $88,500 to $183,500. The national range provided includes the base salary that Egencia expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location. This role is eligible for one of our Variable Incentive Plans, which award cash incentives for individual and/or team achievement. This role is also eligible to be nominated for awards under the company Equity Incentive Plan, which is designed to align participants' interests with those of shareholders.
