Trapizzino LES is hiring a Support Member to join the FOH team. The ideal candidate has an interest in learning the ins-and-outs of being a Server or Bartender while gaining experience on the floor in a support role to the team.

They must enjoy working closely with other team members and feel confident maintaining tables, floor, stock levels and cleanliness during a busy service.

This is a hybrid Barback / Busser position and has the potential to grow into a full-time Serving or Bartedning role should the candidate learn quickly and demonstrate an eagerness to advance within the company.

The New York outpost of Stefano Callegari's Roman-rooted, internationally-acclaimed restaurant, Trapizzino brings a taste of the Eternal City to the corner of Orchard and Rivington Streets.

Responsibilities include :

• Stocking and maintaining the bar.
• Clearing and resetting tables as guests depart.
• Ensure daily checklists are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist the Culinary Team with additional tasks during service downtime.
• Respond promptly and accurately to all guest requests and / or concerns.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and team members.
• Comply with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations set forth by Trapizzino.

Requirements include :

• Willingness to learn!
• An interest in food, wine and spirits.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate openly and effectively with both guests and team members.
• Full Time schedule and occasional late-night (1AM) hours.
• The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects, up to 50lbs - as well as kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs;

be standing for extended periods of time.
