Position Summary: 

Join our team as an Inventory Control Intern and gain hands-on experience in managing inventory operations within our organization. As an intern at The Tranzonic Companies, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams and departments to gain practical experience and contribute to real projects. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in inventory control activities, including tracking, monitoring, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Support the transfer of inventory from off-site locations to the primary facility, ensuring timely and efficient logistics. 
• Collaborate with the inventory management team to conduct slotting analysis for high-velocity items, optimizing storage locations to enhance efficiency. 
• Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Utilize inventory management software and tools to update inventory records and generate reports. 
• Collaborating with team members to complete assigned projects on time and within scope.
• Other duties as assigned.

 Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Prior internship or work experience is a plus but not required.
• Passion for problem solving and eagerness to learn.
