Job Description:

SUMMARY

Responsible for program maintenance and growth and overall operation of the Apartment Program on a day to day basis. Supervises and guides Apartment staff in the effective delivery of services to program participants in a healthy, safe, and therapeutic environment. Ensures that all staff are implementing agency, state and other regulatory body requirements. This position may require use of personal vehicle to transport clients when an agency vehicle is not available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures documentation conforms to guidelines set forth to secure payment through the Medicaid Billing System.

Maintains staff schedules.

Provides assistance in time of crisis to the community residence.

Provides program staff backup as needed.

Communicates regularly with the Director of Adult Services.

Regularly reviews program record keeping.

Maintains Agency policy and procedures in all program areas such as admission and discharge.

Reviews and participates as needed in personnel issues and evaluations of apartment staff in conjunction with the Director of Adult Services and Executive Director.

Assists in reviewing, evaluation, and in further developing of existing program services.

Involvement in appropriate professional and planning structures related to the service fields.

Regularly reviews physical condition of the Apartments.

  • -quarterly general inspection of the Apartments.
  • -biannual full inventory of condition of Apartments.
  • -coordinates repair, maintenance, or replacement of needed items with the Director of Adult Services

Responsible at designated time for the Agency on-call system.

Oversees disbursement of weekly grocery money and completes grocery voucher sheets monthly

Conducts chart audits bi-monthly

Assists in statistical reporting as required.

Generates good public relations in the community and with other agencies.

Collects program fees.

Oversees inventory and purchase of household supplies.

Experience and Skills:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree in Mental Health or Human Services field; and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training OR a Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health or Human Services field; and three (3) to four (4) years related experience and/or training, including experience with developmentally delayed, geriatric and co-occurring disorder clients. Prior supervisor experience preferred but not required. QMHS Preferred.
