Position Details:

This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday during standard business hours. Compensation will be based on the qualifications of applicant.

Location: 

This is a HYBRID (REMOTE/ONSITE) opportunity in the United States. Candidate must reside in the US and be work authorized. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Our corporate office is located in Chattanooga, TN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a direct consequence of our success and growth, Transcard is faced with the continual requirement to improve and modernize our operating systems and target operating model. The continued improvement of the "customer journey" is paramount to our ongoing success. We are now looking to appoint a highly skilled operations leader capable of building upon the existing success of the business and through people, systems, and technology drive innovation and change ensuring that the business continues to grow and perform to exacting standards. This role requires an individual that has experience leading large teams of people and a successful track record of delivering operational change and transformation in a fast-paced environment.

· Developing and leading multiple teams capable of overseeing and delivering its functional responsibilities and appropriate controls.

· Responsible for the development and management of the annual operations budget.

· Overseeing all aspects of Transcard’s operational functions, ensuring teams deliver against key KPI, measurements, and service levels.

· Supporting the implementation of the business strategy by overseeing the provision of services relevant to Transcard’s business operations.

· Supporting our organization’s goals for continuous improvement, cost control, and efficiency.

· Ensuring appropriate systems and controls within the operational teams for the identification, quantification, mitigation, and management of operational risk on a day-to-day basis.

· Providing advice on the operational risks and/or implications associated with US / Global strategy.

· Continuously recommend and implement operational changes where appropriate.

· Managing all operational third parties, including partners, clients, and individual customers.

· Maintaining a strong working relationship with the Transcard stakeholders, senior management team, and colleagues

· Driving revenue opportunities through improved client relationships and reduced risk.

· Providing regular reports to the COO, Senior Management and other relevant parties of matters relating to operations.

· Developing and maintaining high performing individuals and teams, providing an environment for them to learn and deliver success.

· Promoting culture and standards amongst operations staff in relation to the fair treatment of customers and preserving market integrity.

· Promoting professional development and continuous improvement of staff, including the provision of support, training, and performance assessment.

· Reviewing and monitoring the performance of operational staff members.

Requirements

· 5 years of experience leading operational teams, developing and maintaining key KPIs.

· 3 years of experience in a Customer Service and/or Client Experience environment is preferred.

· Experience or exposure to a payment or fintech environment is preferred.

· Understanding and implementing the application of Transcard’s Business Strategy goals.

· Proven ability to understand and respond to regulatory changes.

· Proven ability and experience designing and implementing new systems, processes, and procedures and utilization of up to date and innovative technology.

· A strong decision maker with the ability to ensure team deadlines are met.

· Understand and prioritize key deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

· Clear and effective communication skills.

· A highly developed level of emotional intelligence, with a keen sense of self-awareness and empathy to motivate teams and influence others; previous experience of managing senior staff is essential.

· Strong problem-solving skills.

Education and/or Certifications:

· Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience (Business, Finance)
