As a Line Cook at IHOP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality preparation of our menu items. Your culinary expertise and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and cook menu items accurately and consistently, following IHOP's standardized recipes and portion sizes.
• Handle a specific kitchen station (e.g., grill, sauté, or fry) efficiently, maintaining proper food production during peak service times.
• Ensure that all dishes meet IHOP's quality and presentation standards. Adjust cooking techniques and recipes as necessary to maintain consistency.
• Work efficiently to meet the demands of busy shifts while maintaining the highest level of food quality.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to coordinate orders and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, keeping your station and workspace clean and organized.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior kitchen staff, helping them improve their culinary skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Food safety certification.
