We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician II to support our production operations in Springfield. The Maintenance Technician II must have broad-based industrial maintenance experience. This will encompass electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyor systems.

Essential Functions

• Diagnose and repair our more complex machines which will encompass electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of all machines in assigned area and be responsible for preventative maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, repair, cleanliness, and escalation of assigned equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime through data-driven analysis.
• Managing the CMMS system (hippo), creating work orders, uploading documentation, and updating parts.
• Assisting with inventory, cataloging parts inventory, and ordering replacement parts and shop supplies.
• Mentor maintenance technician I employees on equipment and advanced manufacturing systems.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• 5 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines is required.
• Journeyman level in a related field.
