Inboard Mechanic - Conanicut Marina
Position Description
Conanicut Marina is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Inboard Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for boats and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. As an Inboard Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all inboard engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and related equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all inboard engines.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on boats, including steering, propulsion, and electrical systems.
Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, time spent, and any additional repairs needed.
Communicate with boat owners and other team members to ensure that repairs are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Technical and Physical Requirements
1 years experience as a marine mechanic
Knowledge of marine engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and related equipment.
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
