Learning and Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate candidate to join our Team as a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager! Our L&D Manager helps our company succeed by training and developing its people. Our L&D Manager will help our employees advance their skills and knowledge by creating and executing learning strategies and programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Support managers in developing their team members through career pathing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and train on the Learning Management System.
  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other trainings
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  • Manage and develop the apprenticeship program
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Two years of managing an LMS or other systems of administration preferred.
  • Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience in project management and budgeting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
