Toyota Material Handling Pennwest, Inc is a premier provider of material handling & construction equipment & services in western Pennsylvania & Northern West Virginia. We are rapidly growing and have an immediate need for Field Service Technicians, primarily to service the Erie, PA 16506 and surrounding areas.

Summary of your role as Forklift Service Tech:

The field technician position travels to customer sites to perform routine maintenance, diagnose, and repair problems with material handling equipment sold and serviced by the Company. Field technicians perform all proposed and scheduled work on equipment.

General Day as a Field Service Technician:

• Travel to customer locations to conduct scheduled Planned Maintenance and diagnose and repair down equipment;
• Perform complex diagnostic procedures and repairs;
• Install and operate relevant tests and diagnostic equipment;
• Operate various mechanical equipment – compressor, welder, and generator.

What will help you excel as a Field Service Technician:

• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude;
• Prior experience servicing and operating material handling equipment;
• Auto mechanic experience is a match too!
• Ability to work in industrial environment that includes exposure to significant weather conditions, loud noise, injury, heat, and cold;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Excellent grammar and communication skills;
• Superior Customer Service skills;
• Must possess computer skills including company software and Microsoft applications.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Experience working in mechanical/technician role;
• Excellent customer service skills.
