The Office of General Assistance is seeking a part-time Staff Assistant to work 25 hours a week. The Staff Assistant serves as the front desk receptionist, answering phone, greeting applicants and clients, and performing general office duties, pre-screening potential clients and providing information and referral about other area human service providers. Successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, have excellent customer service skills, be non-judgmental and discreet. Experience with accounting software, casework and/or social services a plus. Associate’s degree preferred and/or 3 years of recent related experience.
