Front Desk Agent - Full Time-Overnight
A Front Desk Agent is responsible to welcome and register guest, establishes credit, direct guest to room, relays messages, answers questions about service, maintains and updates records, obtains payments, and make reservations.
Responsibilities:
· Willingness to accept the most effective role
· Welcomes guest by greeting, answering questions, and responding to requests
· Registers guest by obtaining or confirming room requirements, verifying pre-registration, assigning room, obtaining information and signatures, and issuing guest room keys
· Establishes credit by verifying credit cards or obtaining cash
· Conveys information to guest by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, packages, etc.
· Provide concierge duties to guest by answering inquires regrading hotel and other services guest may require, such as entertainment, business, shopping, and travel
· Maintain records by entering room and guest account data
· Collect revenue by entering services and charges, computing bill, and obtaining payment
· Makes hotel reservation over the phone, checking availability, and confirming requirements
Requirements:
· Uses customer services etiquette to help guest in all their needs
· Greets callers, establishes rapport and project professional tones at all times
· High school diploma or equivalent experience
· 1-year hospitality experience is preferred
· Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
· Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
