The position is responsible for performing entry level to semi-skilled labor tasks in grounds maintenance, janitorial activities, and assist with water services. Reports to the Crew Leader.

The essential functions identified for this job are:

Minimum Qualifications: Must possess high school diploma or equivalent. Some experience in grounds or facility maintenance, light electrical and small engine repair desirable. Must be able to obtain a Stormwater Operator License and become certified in Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) within one (1) year. Must possess and maintain a Class D driver’s license.

Equipment: The employee operates small hand and power tools, light and heavy equipment and trucks. The employee uses and operates a variety of office and computer equipment, and related software.

Critical Skills/ Expertise: Employee must possess knowledge of general written standards and procedures utilized, and have the ability to read, interpret, and follow procedural and policy manual related to the job tasks.
