PRODUCT SUPPORT INTERN (SUMMER 2024) - PITTSBURGH, PA (ON-SITE)
Our Summer Internship Program was recognized as the 2022 GenerationNext Program of the Year by Engage Cleveland, and we’re looking for our next round of interns! This program connects young professionals with a quickly growing company in a key industry, providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and development.
The program runs from after Memorial Day (Tuesday, May 28) through mid-August (Friday, August 9), with a first-week onboarding (split between Cleveland headquarters and assigned site) followed by 10 weeks of hands-on, in-depth experience.
JOB SUMMARY The Product Support Intern will assist with various projects throughout the assignment, providing the opportunity to work in both the Parts and Service departments of the business. Projects will include reviewing/updating product support department policies/procedures, projects within Field Service Lightning, Salesforce entry/analytics reporting, and other projects as assigned. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides full-service administrative support on various department projects, including Field Service Lightning reporting, Customer Service Feedback, Audits, and Productivity.
Coordinates, schedules, and organizes resources to meet department objectives.
Researches all relevant information about department projects and provides fact summaries, making recommendations for action.
Ensures proper facilitation, inputting, and recording of all departmental-related data.
Keeps track of data and provides ongoing analysis, providing recommendations.
Collects pertinent information by asking questions of appropriate staff and utilizing available resources.
Actively learn the sales, service, and parts process, seeking process efficiency along the way
Help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts.
Performs other duties of a similar nature as required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, majoring in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, Transportation, Sales, and/or a related field
EXPERIENCE
Previous management/business classes completed.
Previous work experience, either as an intern/co-op and/or other various roles held
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work independently and to effectively prioritize demands and execute tasks.
Keen attention to detail.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers clearly and concisely.
