OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE

Enable the achievement of revenue, yield and utilisation targets within thl USA’s rentals business by analysing commercial information and proposing and executing pricing strategies. Manage implementation of pricing updates and promotional offers to ensure a dynamic response to opportunities to grow revenue.

SCOPE

Budget responsibilities:

Meet revenue targets as determined by business plans

Key Interactions:

CMO, COO USA, US Lead Team, Reservations Team, Sales team, Marketing team, Rental Operations and Global Support Services.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Criteria:

· A college degree in a commercial discipline or extensive appropriate experience.

· Understanding of dynamic pricing processes applied in an industry with perishable inventory. Tourism and or rentals experience is preferred.

· A passion for travel and the tourism industry

· Expertise in using Excel for data analysis. Familiarity with Power BI is preferred.

· Understanding of fleet planning and management is desirable.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Decision making capability translating analysis into decisive action

· Proficiency in working with business stakeholders at all levels

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to prioritize workload, self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and implement pricing processes and strategies to optimize rental revenue, yield, and utilization for the US RV Rental fleet.

· Analyse trends in markets, geographic regions, RV rental and adjacent industries, competitors and overall business trends to inform pricing decisions and support the achievement of revenue, yield, and utilization targets.

· Produce and distribute location performance and benchmark reports on a regular basis, providing insights to drive pricing decisions and monitor progress towards targets.

· Forecast location rental demand and overall trends to support pricing strategies and optimize fleet utilization.

· Develop and contribute to targeted promotions that align with the organization's pricing strategies, aiming to increase revenue and maximize rental fleet utilization.

· Collaborate with internal business stakeholders at multiple levels of the business to gather insights, align pricing strategies, and ensure the achievement of revenue, yield, and utilization targets.

· Utilize various tools such as Excel and Power BI to analyse data, derive insights, and make informed business decisions regarding pricing strategies.

· Identify channel optimisation opportunities and work closely with the sales team to increase business profitability. Oversee the preparation, maintenance and distribution of the weekly and monthly revenue and sales reports and dashboards as required.

· Provide updates on performance and forecasting in relation to planned revenue targets.

· Prepare ad-hoc requests and analyses as required by the business, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.

· Act in accordance with thl brand pillars and company policies, guidelines and requirements

· Actively participate in the thl Health and Safety system

· Other Duties as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
