Touchmark is Hiring a Vice President of Technology Near Beaverton, OR

The Vice President of Technology is responsible for ensuring the use of modern IT software, technologies and software programing and developing the IT strategy to streamline business operations and ensure the highest level of data security throughout the company. The Vice President of Technology will oversee the company IT needs, manage the IT team, oversee software development and user support, and improve technology related platforms to align with the vision and strategic goals of the company. You will ensure that IT systems and staff are effective and function within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company. Some of the Key Responsibilities: Align the company's technology resources with the organization's short and long-term strategic goals. Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships to increase the company’s efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee contract negotiations with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers. Serve as the executive leader of a large multi-state/multi-site organization with thousands of users. Stay abreast of emerging technologies that can improve IT department performance and increase company profits. Oversee, develop, and lead IT personnel to ensure exceptional service and outcomes are achieved. Work to increase user satisfaction through stakeholder review and proactive engagement. Ensure IT department strategies and processes provide appropriate support to company-wide goals. Establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategic goals set by leadership. Work closely with Marketing, Development and Construction, and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements. Participate in cross functional teams to ensure IT readiness and exceptional service for large organizational projects. Lead, champion and communicate IT initiatives across the organization. Establishes and drives BI initiatives to provide the organization with real time information to make informed business decisions. Travel as needed to understand, resolve, and support community technology needs. Our ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or related field. Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems or business administration highly preferred. 10 years’ experience leading multi-site IT function and staff in large organization. 5 years’ experience as IT director/manager overseeing a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems, POS and communications devices using current technologies. 5 years’ experience setting and driving technology strategy. 5 years’ developing BI analytics to help drive business decisions. 5 years’ overseeing software development initiatives and teams. 5 years’ experience managing and training staff. Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.
