Toth & Associates, Inc. is Hiring an IT Specialist Near Springfield, MO

Toth and Associates is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Helpdesk/User Support Specialist to join our growing team in Springfield, MO. This role provides technical support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of user-reported technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide technical support to staff via phone, email, and in-person assistance.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and escalations thoroughly.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating user accounts and permissions.
  • Coordinate with hardware, software, and security teams as needed for software installations, new user setups, and other tasks.
  • Stay updated on current IT policies and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and software.
  • Keep informed about emerging IT trends and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits of systems and software to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for end-users.
  • Associate degree in information technology, computer science, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support role required; 3-5 years preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • A or equivalent certification is a plus.
