TSTC is seeking a full-time IT Site Support to support an existing TSTC contract with DHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery.

Proven experience that displays deep interaction and problem-solving skills for complex technical problems.
Advanced skill set for leading, understanding and solving complex problems spanning one or more teams / areas with appropriate quality and quantity
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
Strong knowledge of maintaining and upgrading Active directory, on-prem and Azure.
Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT operations and best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
Provide operations and maintenance support to resolve application bugs and enhancements submitted through the Support Desk.
Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree required – preferred in relevant technology fields such as Computer Science, IT, System Administration, or Engineering
3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience. (Prior military IT experience preferred but not required)
System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, VMware or other network related fields are a plus
Working knowledge of VMware, Zerto, Workspace One, Veeam, O365, Azure, Exchange, Primary and Secondary Storage
Experience with scripting and automation tools
Experience with Java, Java Applets, Web Programming Skills, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, Web User Interface Design, Software Requirements, Software Development Process, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Multimedia Content Development, and Software Debugging.
