- Prepares and expedites shipments
- Determines method and mode of shipment based on customer requirements
- Compares identifying information on outgoing shipments to verify product and counts match outbound shipment documentation.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment
- Follow labeling requirements for each customer
- Proper operation of material handling equipment to safety and production requirements
- Drive a company vehicle
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
- Operation of Forklift and Cherry Picker
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Provide quality control for all outbound orders for accuracy.
- Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol test
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Clean and active driving record- current valid Drivers License
- Time management to complete all regularly scheduled tasks on a timely basis.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Organized and time management skills
- With minimal supervision, demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to interpret packing slip.
- Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers
- Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

- Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and walk for long periods of time; sit; bend; climb; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Operate motorized machinery.
