• Strong knowledge of CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems & Low Voltage Wiring
• Basic knowledge of using Microsoft 365 Word, Excel and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of using Windows 10/11 operating system
• Basic knowledge of printing and scanning documents
• Basic knowledge of managing computer files
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

What you'll be doing:

Systems Installation Technicians are skilled professionals responsible for the precise installation and configuration of equipment at designated locations. Additionally, they provide thorough explanations of operation and maintenance procedures to users or customers. Beyond installation, they offer ongoing support, maintenance, and repair services to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.

What responsibilities are common for Systems Installation Technician jobs?

• At times, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates and remain within the individual weight requirement of 250 lbs.
• Ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of the crew.
• Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Carry material and stage for installer at the customer's' home.
• Guide, coordinate and oversee fellow Systems Installation Technicians.
• Educate about benefits and upsell to customers add-on sales products.
• Evaluate and monitor performance and quality standards of sub-contractors.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.
• Educate customers on the features and functionality of installed products.
• Assist with the completion of tasks within allotted time frame.
• Assist with parts, shipping, receiving and inventory as needed.
• Review paperwork with customer and collect payment as needed.
• Assist in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes and businesses.
• Travel to the customer’s location to install, repair, or maintain systems and devices.
• Consult with customers to locate wiring and outlets for cable boxes, modems, and hardwire installations. Understanding the customer’s requirements is crucial for efficient installation.
• Document all tasks performed during each service appointment. Accurate records help track progress and provide information for future reference.
• Providing written and verbal instructions to customers is essential. Explain how to operate alarm systems, remote controls, and other equipment installed.
• After system installations, thoroughly test the functionality and performance. Ensuring everything works as expected is crucial for customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining a consistent level of professionalism while representing the company is vital. Keep managers informed of progress, respect customer property, and maintain good relationships with colleagues and customers.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
