Torch Technologies is seeking a Entry-Level Missile Simulation Engineer under the Tactical Systems Business Unit in Huntsville, AL

We are seeking staff who will provide simulation based analysis and engineering support for a new tactical missile system. Experience with system simulation and data analysis are required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team are required.

Primary duties will consist of analysis tool development, system performance analysis, flight test support, and simulation execution. Previous experience with control systems, IR sensors, six degree of freedom missile simulations, Monte-Carlo techniques, SAL systems, MMW RADAR, and configuration management are desirable. The candidate will be part of a team developing, testing, and integrating new and existing modeling and simulation tools. The candidate should be self-motivated. Qualified candidates will work within a collaborative team environment composed of government and supporting contractor personnel. Communication, organizational, and technical writing skills will be desired. Candidates with experience in software development using high-level languages such as C , Python, and familiar with a Linux environment are desired.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline from an accredited university
• 0-2 years of experience
• Experience in software development using high-level languages C/C and Python
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, subversion, etc.
• The ability to react quickly to changing engineering challenges and mission requirements
• US Citizenship is required for this position
• Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance is required for ongoing employment in this position
