Torch Technologies is Hiring an Entry Level Missile Analyst Near Huntsville, AL
Torch Technologies is seeking Entry Level Missile Analyst to create studies, determine requirements and design possibilities for new weapon systems. The positions will require a base knowledge of Physics, Mathematics, Thermodynamics, and other disciplines for evaluation and modeling of proposed concepts and system concerns. The candidate must have an enthusiasm for learning and a desire to understand analytical data. The position will require a self-starting personality with the desire to understand component as well as system level design issues through modeling, studying, and analyzing data. Experience with software specifically C and python will be an asset. The candidate will be constantly learning while producing work products. The work products will consist of answering highly technical question about system performance using Mathematics, Physics and Thermodynamics to model and study the system, providing the best system designed for the Nation's Defense. Qualified applicants will have a strong understanding of Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Thermodynamics and be able to work independently but will be part of a collaborate team made of experts that will aid and promote learning. Other experience of interest, but not required, propulsion, 6DOF, equations of motion, battle management and fire control, and algorithm development. The candidate selected for this position will be expected to grow and constantly learn being challenged daily, but amongst experts in an excellent collaborative environment with tasking well defined.
BS: Degree in Aerospace Engineering from an Accredited University. Position requires that candidate can acquire a secret level security clearance to access classified information. Inability to acquire or maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
