 Golden Touch is a family owned and operated wholesale apparel manufacturer with a mission to deliver trend focused products for nearly 50 years. We produce private label brands for large mass market retailers across the globe specializing in children’s, junior, missy and women’s apparel. 

Responsibilities:

• Understand the commercial print & graphic market for childrenswear (infant – big kid)
• Emphasis on girls, but also able to design for boys
• Able to create new original graphic & print artwork under direction of Graphics Director & in collaboration with apparel design team
• Versatility to create artwork for several different clients in same season 
• Responsible for putting prints into correct repeat & scale, editing & recoloring artwork
• Responsible for detailing artwork for factory in sampling or production “mechanical” sheets
• Emphasis on apparel graphic & print, but will have opportunity to gain experience with variety of end-uses, such as packaging design, hangtags & trims
• Capable of following direction from manager
• Works well independently and with a team
• Organized and able to ask questions when necessary

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Textile Design, Illustration or Apparel Design 
• Experience: 3 years of full-time professional design experience 
• Excellent sense of market trend and color
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and attention to detail 
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize different types of work independently and cross functionally
• Resourceful/problem solver 
• Good understanding of all aspects of copyright related to textile design, rework/manipulate bought art to pass legal requirements while adhering to designer’s wishes
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, proficient in Photoshop

Salary Range - $50K - $80K*

*As a private company, Golden Touch may pay more or less than the published upper limit of the pay range based on an individual’s demonstrated experience and expertise in their field. The pay ranges serve as a target and allow us to consider relevant experience, time in the role, salaries of internal peers, business sector, prior performance, and geographic location.
