OVERALL SUMMARY: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Graphic Designer who will report to the Design Director
and will contribute to the structural and creative development of packaging, as well as support the other creative needs of the business.
You’ll be a person that has at least 4 years of proven professional experience that excels in all stages of the design process from
conception of ideas through to presenting finished visuals and mockups.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with product design and marketing teams to design and develop packaging and marketing communications

material.

• Work closely with the Brand Managers and packaging teams overseas to explore packaging structures, materials, print finishes,

and ensure that a balance between finish and cost effectiveness is achieved.

• Apply consumer-focused, commercially minded graphical design to bring competitive advantage and differentiation at retail.

• Create and/or direct external parties to create on-brief assets and style guides for branding projects as required.

• Assist with other corporate creative requirements including exhibition graphics, promotional materials, catalogue pages, online

digital assets, online marcom assets and retouching.

• Along with graphics, product design and project management colleagues, contribute to the improvement of packaging systems,

streamlining the process, and create efficiency within the team.

• Ensure consistency across materials and align the creative approach and direction for a global market.

• Ensure all work is delivered on time and of high quality.

• Highly creative problem solver in both thinking and execution.

• Ability to creatively take ownership of a brand and it’s graphical and packaging development.

• Experience of working with 3D packaging and graphic design in consumer goods.

• An advanced level of experience in Adobe Creative Suite. (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

• Strong and confident communication and influencing skills, able to build effective working relationships and secure commitment

for action from a wide range of stakeholders. Experience of working within an international and cross-cultural environment
would be an advantage.

• Highly organized and efficient in work processes with a keen determination to resolve issues and deliver outcomes.

• Ability to manage quality package execution on multiple, concurrent lines.

• Able to adapt to change and with a proactive and ‘can do’ attitude. Composed and objective under the pressure of competing

and changing priorities, helping others to keep motivated and focused.

• Ability to present concepts from a position of expertise, as well as a firm grounding and knowledge of graphic and packaging

trends.

• Ability to create branding and logo options from a Creative Brief, in conjunction with direction from the Design Director.

• Ability to translate licensed assets into creative, yet efficient packaging that effectively sell the product.

• Commit to keeping in touch with current and future trends and innovation in the marketplace.

• Experience in the Toy industry would be a significant benefit.

• Experience with licensed product packaging would be beneficial to the role.

• Ability to adapt graphic style to a variety of toy projects, including, infant, toddler, toy, games and plush.

• CG Rendering skills with software such as Keyshot and motion graphics experience is a plus.
